The Marshall Tucker Band
Sans jamais accéder à un statut de star, comme Lynyrd Skynyrd ou l'Allman Brothers Band, The Marshall Tucker Band va devenir au fil des ans une véritable institution du southern rock américain. Le groupe, qui se fait d'abord connaître en tournant avec les Allman, demeure assez proche des standards country rock (avec pedal steel, violon folk et - ce qui est moins habituel - flûte).
